Sonakshi Sinha Sells Bandra Apartment for ₹22.50 Crore, Makes 61% Profit

Mumbai, 4th February 2025: Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha has successfully sold her luxurious Bandra apartment for ₹22.50 crore, securing a 61% profit from her initial investment. Sinha had purchased the property in March 2020 for ₹14 crore.

The apartment, located on the 16th floor of the upscale 81 Aureate project in Bandra West, spans 4,211 sq ft of carpet area and offers a built-up area of 4,632 sq ft. Additionally, the apartment comes with three designated car parks. The transaction was registered on January 31, 2025, with the payment of ₹1.35 crore in stamp duty and ₹30,000 in registration fees.

The buyer, Delhi-based businessman Richi Bansal, acquired the property through the official transaction, with the sale marking another notable real estate move in the region.

81 Aureate, a high-end development spread across 4.48 acres, has seen considerable interest, with eight transactions valued at ₹76 crore between February 2024 and January 2025. The average resale price for a 4BHK unit in the complex is approximately ₹51,636 per sq. ft., while the average asking rent for similar units stands at ₹8.5 lakh per month.

Bandra, renowned for its proximity to Mumbai’s commercial hub Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), continues to be a popular residential choice for executives and celebrities, with easy access to key locations like the Western Express Highway, Bandra-Worli Sea Link, and the international airport. The area’s connectivity has made it a sought-after destination for high-profile residents, including Bollywood stars and sports personalities.

In addition to this sale, Sonakshi Sinha had previously acquired a sea-facing apartment on the 26th floor of the same building for ₹11 crore in 2023.

Sonakshi Sinha, who made her debut in 2010 with the hit film Dabangg, has since cemented her status as a versatile actress in the industry. Her notable roles include Lootera, Akira, and Mission Mangal, with her most recent performance in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's period drama Heeramandi. Apart from acting, Sinha is also the co-founder of the beauty brand 'SOEZI'.
