A private investor has purchased a 3,600-square-foot retail property in downtown Red Bank, according to NAI DiLeo-Bram & Co. The property, located at 30 Monmouth St., is currently home to Agra Indian Masala, a restaurant with a long-term lease, and was previously the site of Monmouth Music, a popular guitar shop that operated for 31 years.
The sale was brokered by NAI DiLeo-Bram’s Associate Vice President Kelly Bayer and Chief Operating Officer David A. Simon, who represented the unnamed seller. The buyer was represented by Melina Bradley and Jillian Abbadessa of Keller Williams Realty West Monmouth. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“This sale highlights the continued demand for prime retail space in Red Bank, a vibrant and rapidly growing area known for its urban-chic appeal and proximity to the Jersey Shore,” said Bayer. “The property’s prime Monmouth Street location, visibility, and foot traffic make it an attractive investment.”
The property is well-positioned for a variety of retail uses, including food and beverage, and is located in one of New Jersey’s most sought-after commercial districts. The building benefits from access to a municipal parking lot on White Street, further enhancing its appeal to potential retailers.
Red Bank’s downtown area is a bustling hub for boutiques, art galleries, specialty shops, and national retailers. The neighborhood also boasts a thriving culinary scene, diverse entertainment venues like the Count Basie Center for the Arts and the Two River Theater, and is well-connected to major roadways such as the Garden State Parkway and Route 35.
David Simon of NAI DiLeo-Bram emphasized the property’s strategic location in a desirable area for retailers, with its affluent customer base and high foot traffic contributing to rising rents and property values. The area's growing appeal has drawn a mix of small, independent businesses and larger brands, making it a sought-after destination for real estate investors.
